lucy studioBritish designer-maker Lucy Renshaw, set up her textile studio after graduating from the Royal College of Art in July 2006. Following her success at the Royal College she was selected to launch her ideas and exhibit during Design Week at 100% East, Truman Brewery, London.

Lucy uses colour inspired by her travels to the Caribbean and South America, mixed with exotic pattern, experimental ideas and traditional textile techniques to create original furniture pieces.

She deliberately sets out to tackle environmental issues by working with recycled fabrics and reusing materials. She combines techniques of surface embellishment, embroidery and screen printing to produce imaginative and inspired interior products.
